THE FRIEDMAN RANCH
LIST PRICE: $2,995,000

Discover a modern architectural residence at 2405 E Antelope Hills Road, a rare Marfa retreat set on ten private acres just minutes from the center of town. Designed in 2016 with precision and vision, this 2,304-square-foot home offers three bedrooms and two bathrooms in a layout that balances openness with privacy. Floor-to-ceiling glass and a continuous clerestory band surround the living space, creating a light-filled environment where the roof appears to float above the desert landscape.
The interiors showcase thoughtful design at every turn. The kitchen is anchored by a Vipp steel system with Gaggenau cooking appliances and Liebherr refrigeration, combining modern functionality with a timeless aesthetic. Concealed storage walls, radiant heated floors, and retractable Phantom screens enhance both comfort and efficiency, while solar power and a private well provide sustainable living.
Outdoor living is equally compelling. A shipping-container lap pool by Modpools with an integrated spa offers year-round enjoyment, complemented by a Judd-inspired shade pavilion and a screened palapa with lift-up walls for desert dining. A fire-pit terrace faces the Davis Mountains, while the grounds feature restored native prairie grasses designed for low-maintenance beauty.
Widely celebrated in Architectural Digest and international design media, this property represents a unique opportunity to own a home of architectural importance in Marfa.
